Can you use custom cosmetics and weapon skins without getting banned in Valorant?

I really want to run Kuronami Vandal and Prime Karambit, but spent all my money on PC hardware this month so i cant drop $100 on VP right now.

How do skin changers actually work in Valorant? Do teammates see the skins or is it strictly client side? Also how dangerous is using a skin changer compared to using aim tools or ESP?

All skin changers in online games are 100% client-side. Server holds ownership validation for skin IDs so teammates and enemies will just see default skins or whatever skin you actually own equipped on your account.

As for detection risk: writing to memory addresses that swap weapon mesh IDs or skin textures requires memory access just like any cheat. If you use a random free injector, Vanguard flags it instantly. If you use a proper Valorant skin changer that operates through documented memory offsets, it's very smooth. You get custom sound effects, animations, and upgrade levels locally without having to spend hundreds on VP.

wait do finisher animations work with skin changers?

@SovaLineups depends on the specific tool, but good ones render the full client animation, kill icons, and inspect animations locally on your screen.

that's fire honestly. I don't care if others see it as long as my inspects and sound effects feel crisp on my end lol.
