Does Vanguard detect kernel level aimbots instantly or is it delayed ban waves?
Closed thread Closed by archivengl vanguard is starting to feel strict lately. was talking to a buddy who got flagged last week and he claims he wasn't hit instantly while playing, but got banned like 3 days later mid-match.
im curious how vanguard actually handles kernel-level stuff nowadays. does it log flagged drivers silently and wait for a ban wave, or does it trigger an immediate hardware flag as soon as something tries reading memory? trying to understand how risky modern memory reads are right now.

Replies are closedVanguard almost always delays bans unless your cheat is totally public and flagged in their signature database. If it's a signature hit, you get disconnected mid-match within an hour or two. If it's behavioral or heuristic detection (like weird mouse input vectors), they usually tag your HWID and queue you for the next ban wave so cheat devs can't instantly pinpoint what gave it away.
delayed bans are the worst, you play 40 matches thinking everything is fine and then boom 152 error out of nowhere lol
Yeah Riot built Vanguard to run at Ring 0 specifically so it boots before your OS drivers load. If a driver loads un-signed or uses known vulnerable drivers to map into memory, Vanguard flags the system boot state immediately. If you're looking for a valorant cheat build with a lower public profile, the key is using private hypervisor-based setups or heavily obfuscated kernel drivers that don't hook standard system APIs. Once Riot flags your motherboard serials though, you're pretty much stuck needing a hwid spoofer for valorant to reset your hardware IDs before trying another account.
@VoidRunner so if you get hit with error 152, that means it's a full hardware flag right? not just account?
@Cipher_X yep 152 is full hardware ban. Usually lasts 4 months minimum unless you use a spoofer to clean your disk serials, MAC address, and motherboard UUID.
lmao just play legit problem solved
@RustBucket bro you are literally on a game modification forum why are you here lmao
