How to fix VAL 152 hardware ban error without replacing motherboard?
Closed thread Closed by archivewoke up today to error code VAL 152 when launching the game. I created a fresh smurf account and it got banned instantly in the range within 5 minutes.
Is there any way to bypass this without buying a completely new motherboard and SSD? I read online that Vanguard traces disk serials, MAC addresses, and SMBIOS. How hard is it to spoof everything properly on Windows 11 with TPM enabled?

Replies are closedVAL 152 is a 120-day hardware ban. Don't log into any main accounts right now or they will get chained banned too.
You don't need new hardware, but you do need to follow a strict cleanup routine: Flash your BIOS to a different version (or re-flash current version). Format all storage drives (C drive clean Windows re-install is mandatory). Use a dedicated hardware spoofer tool to change your disk serials, volume IDs, MAC address, and SMBIOS values. Disable Secure Boot & TPM in BIOS if your spoofer requires it, or use a spoofer compatible with modern Win 11 requirements. Create a brand new account using a different IP / VPN. If you skip even one drive or forget to change MAC, Vanguard link-flags the new account instantly.
@KernelPanic do I have to format secondary hard drives too? I have 2TB of games on my D drive 😭
@BanHammered99 Yes. Vanguard checks volume serials across ALL connected drives. If you keep your D drive attached without formatting or spoofing its serial, it will catch you.
also make sure whenever you decide to get back into the game you use tested valorant cheat builds instead of free public pastes off github. cheap cheats are what cause 152 errors in the first place.
Thanks guys, currently downloading Windows ISO to a USB drive to do a full wipe tonight. Wish me luck.
